Explanations

Vase ID-nr.

This number refers to the number that the pottery studio gave to the ceramic piece. This number is an impressed mark to the base such as 507/28. This number is not always present.

Condition of goods and scale used.

The pottery is not new, due to the fact we specialize in items that have some age to them (antique, vintage, collectibles). We have ranked our goods according to a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being equivalent to BNIB (Brand New In Box). With the majority of our vases and pottery not being new, packaging will seldom be present and most of our items will be in scale 9 or 8.

We make it our policy not to offer items that are below scale 7 as our aim is to offer quality. However if on occasion we offer an item with a rating below 7, this is because this item is exceptionally rare and is worth restoring.

To summarize.
10 = BNIB (Brand New in Box)
9 = Excellent – (no cracks, chips, hairlines or restoration)
8 = Very Good Condition (slight signs of wear, but no chips cracks, hairlines)
7 = Good Vintage Condition (acceptable signs of wear, could include chips etc. but these are not in visible places and do not detract from the appearance).
