Click here for latest UPDATE December 2008 overview.

Finally, it's here. A new UPDATE. It took a while but there you have it! 70-Seventy-70 new vases and they are all small or less than 20cm. Click on the updatebutton for the complete overview. Might be nice to start off with or if you want to expand your collection of West Germany pottery. Take a look and enjoy!

West German studio pottery is extremely collectible with its distinctive patterns, textures and shapes. Our collection represents the period from the 1950s to 1970s when innovation and production was at its height. Garish coloring, bizarre patterning, contrasting forms: West German Studio Pottery is opinionated, you either love it or loathe it, which is surely better than mediocrity.

We have a large collection of vases as well as candle holders, decorative plates, wall tiles, ashtrays and plant holders. We have divided the website into different factories. However by using our search engine it is also possible to search on colour, shape and decoration.

Check out our latest updates (click on the overview button) and see if there's anything you might like. We now have expand our range of West Germany items with table lamps and other pottery.

For those of you who would like more background reading, we recommend Fat Lava (West German Ceramics of the 1960s & 70s) by Mark Hill (see link page).

Whatever you do, we want you also to enjoy the colours, shapes, textures and patterns, that's what it's all about, and the solds one's are still visible too. Enjoy!
